PawOrPass support

Need help with PawOrPass? Email [email protected]. That one address handles questions about this website, the swipe demo and the upcoming app for iPhone and Android, plus notes from breeders and anyone curious about how it will work.

How to contact PawOrPass

Email: [email protected]

Email is the only way to reach us for now. There's no phone line or live chat. To help us sort out your question in one go, include:

  • What it's about in the subject line, like "Demo won't swipe" or "Listing a litter".
  • The page link, if it's about the website.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • Your phone or computer, and the browser you used.
  • A screenshot, if you have one.

Please never send passwords, bank or card details, or ID documents. PawOrPass has no accounts yet, so there's nothing to log in to, and we'll never ask for any of that. If an email claiming to be from PawOrPass asks for a password, it isn't us.

What we can help with before launch

  • How paws, notes and matches will work. The short version is on how pet matching works on PawOrPass.
  • Problems with this website or the swipe demo.
  • Breeders asking how litters and foals will show up in the app.
  • Privacy questions. Our privacy policy for this website covers what the site collects.
  • Ideas. Dogs, cats and horses come first. Tell us which animals you'd like to see next.

Quick fixes for the swipe demo

The swipe demo on the home page runs in your browser. If it acts up, try these first:

  1. Reload the page.
  2. Tap the paw instead of swiping the card.
  3. Seeing "That's everyone for now"? You reached the end. Tap Start over to see the cards again.
  4. Update your browser, or try a different one.
  5. Still stuck? Email us and say which phone or computer and browser you're on.

When the app comes out

Once PawOrPass is out on iPhone and Android, this page becomes the app's help page. Answers about using the app will be added here then. The launch date will be posted on paworpass.com. Curious who's behind the app? Read about PawOrPass.

Common questions

When does PawOrPass come out?

PawOrPass is coming soon to iPhone and Android. We'll post the launch date on paworpass.com.

Which phones will PawOrPass work on?

iPhone and Android. The app will be in the App Store and on Google Play, and each store listing will show which phone software versions it supports.

Are the animals on this site real profiles?

No. Every animal on paworpass.com is a sample profile made for the demo. The photos are real public domain (CC0) pictures, but the names, ages, places and descriptions are made up. So if you fell for Pickles, the kitten looking for a new home, she isn't a real listing.

How can breeders get in touch?

Email [email protected] and tell us your animal, your breed and where you're based. When the app launches, dog, cat and horse breeders can make profiles for their animals and list litters and foals.

How do I report a problem with the website?

Email [email protected] with the page link, what went wrong, and your phone or computer and browser. A screenshot helps a lot.

Coming soon to iPhone and Android.
